Those who live in Salvador or will visit the city: you can see from up close the construction of the Fonte Nova Arena. In addition to tracking the progress of the construction works through the hotsite created by the Arena Salvador Consortium, it is possible to visit the future stage for dispute matches of the 2014 World Cup that will take place in Bahia.

The Fonte Nova Arena Visitation Center, built by Odebrecht and OAS, has an interactive space for the public to have a taste of the experience of watching games in the new arena. Built near the old Tribune of Honor of the stadium which was demolished in 2010, an observatory allows visitors to admire the work that a thousand participants have been conducting.

The space – which is open from Thursday to Sunday, from 9 am to 16 pm – creates scenarios for the public to interact with the past, present, and future: photographic panels tell the history and the defining moments of national soccer and that of the state of Bahia, and recall memorable shows that occurred there. The panels also show some of the events to come.

Want more? A model simulates the view the soccer fans will have from inside the field. Go as soon as you can do your tour. The space has capacity for up to 210 people a day. Visits for groups of up to 30 people must be scheduled beforehand through the website www.arenafontenova.com.br.

It’s a hat-trick!
