Established in 1965, the Odebrecht Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit institution maintained by the Odebrecht Group.

Since 1988, its mission has been to help prepare adolescents for life with a view to grooming responsible, aware, productive, contributive and compassionate citizens who can fulfill their capacity to:

• establish families that can raise a new generation of well-educated,    healthy people prepared to lead productive lives;
• continually engage in self-development;
• contribute to the Sustainable Development of their local communities.

The Odebrecht Foundation concentrates exclusively on the northeastern part of Brazil, where it is supporting and implementing initiatives focused on adolescents and young adults.
