The new Board

The Board of Directors of Odebrecht S.A. represents the Group’s shareholders and is the supreme authority in the entrepreneurship line. Since April 30th, its membership has changed. Now with 10 members, the Board is qualified to meet the growing need for strategic deliberations with the requisite quality, in light of the complexity of the Group’s businesses and the world scene.

In addition to the presence of external Board Members Rubens Ricupero and Pedro Mariani, the Board has welcomed back former Odebrecht executives Luiz Almeida and Sergio Foguel. Chaired by Emílio Odebrecht, who represents the Group’s majority shareholder, the Board also includes Pedro Novis, President of Odebrecht S.A. and the Group’s CEO; and Victor Gradin, Gilberto Sá, Luiz Villar and Renato Baiardi, all former Odebrecht executives.

The Board of Directors of Odebrecht S.A. is a deliberative, non-executive body that focuses on long-term political and strategic decisions. Now with a more diverse membership, it incorporates external perceptions and knowledge and a wealth of experiences that will make the deliberative process even richer.
