Begun 30 years ago, Odebrecht’s history in the Chemicals & Petrochemicals sector marked its first milestone when the Group acquired one-third of the voting stock of Companhia Petroquímica Camaçari (CPC). With the decisive participation of Odebrecht, during those three decades Brazil became the home of three petrochemical complexes equipped with cutting-edge technology and endowed with excellence in R&D, as well as the biggest petrochemical company in South America.
