Stories about all of us
Iara Magalhães de Lucena, the winner of the "Recount Your Story with Odebrecht" contest
Iara, Ludmila, Rómulo, Yarizza, Ruth, César, Luis Fernando, Núbia, Agivaldo. What do they all have in common, aside from being Odebrecht Organization members? The answer: they all have stories to tell of lives and work marked by accomplishment, the desire to grow and develop, solidarity and the spirit of service. They and their stories make up this special commemorative 150th issue of Odebrecht Informa.

Since its inception in October 1973, Odebrecht Informa has carried out the mission of documenting the achievements of Odebrecht members in Brazil and around the globe. More than that, it is one of the Organization’s main tools for keeping its teams on the same page when it comes to the principles and values of the Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology (TEO), no matter where they may be in the world.

Therefore, it is only fair and just that, when celebrating its 150th issue, Odebrecht Informa should devote 100% of its pages to the people who make up the Organization’s daily life.

For example, our cover story recounts the experience of Iara Magalhães de Lucena, a member of Odebrecht Angola, who won the “Recount Your Story with Odebrecht” contest after members based in several countries sent in a total of 158 stories that moved everyone who had the pleasure of reading them. (All the entries will be published on Odebrecht Informa’s website, www.odebrechtonline.com.br)

Every one of the articles featured in this special issue in some way represents the life stories of each and every member of Odebrecht and every individual who makes their work the means of pursuing happiness for themselves and those around them.

Enjoy your reading. And our sincere thanks to you, our readers, who give meaning to all the past, present and future issues of Odebrecht Informa.
