Three different generations coexist simultaneously: young people, mature individuals, and elders.
Over the course of time, both in the entrepreneurial life and families, each generation is situated between the other two – the one that inherits a cultural legacy and the one that passes that legacy on.
Each generation represents a different period of time, a stage, a definite and nontransferable part of historical time.
But they can only follow the same PATH by working together and in harmony.
At the Odebrecht Group, that PATH is Survival, Growth and Perpetuity.
The first generation is made up of elders who concentrate on passing on values and concepts that can perpetuate the Group’s entrepreneurial culture.
The second consists of mature individuals at the height of their powers of achievement who prioritize the accomplishments that make the Group fulfill its growth potential while grooming, leading and setting an example for the next generation.
And the third is comprised of younger people who focus on learning and achieving the day-to-day results that ensure the Group’s survival.
Throughout our history, each generation has made its own singular contribution to the Odebrecht Group and changed the organization in some way.
However, it is the continued coexistence of three generations of entrepreneur-partners and their teams – their productive collaboration and interaction – that most effectively expresses the interconnections in our entrepreneurial history.
It is what strengthens us on our PATH.
It enables us to live in a present that is shaped by the past and designed for the future.
A present where all times converge.
